For 25 years now RIFCON GmbH is an independent scientific consulting company offering comprehensive professional services for the registration of synthetic and biological plant protection products. Our head office is located in Hirschberg near Heidelberg in Germany. About 200 employees offer services ranging from complete EU registration packages, general consultancy work to sophisticated GLP field studies and various combinations of these elements. Furthermore, we offer environmental planning and environmental monitoring including eDNA services.

For our Regulatory Support Team located in Hirschberg and Ludwigshafen we are looking for a Data Manager for Safety Data Sheets in full-time.

Maintenance of master data related to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
GHS classification for chemical substances and products acc. to EU/CLP and UN/GHS
Support our clients in all questions related to database optimization and development
Document management (migration, workflows, lifecycles, metadata)
Data organization, monitoring, analysis
Preparation of supportive documents
Close cooperation with our clients, external and internal stakeholders on a global level

You convince us with

Proof of expertise in MSDS compilation according to REACH
Experience with SAP Systems (R/3 EHS Module)
Scientific background (Biologist / Environmental scientist / Agriculturist or equivalent discipline)
Understanding of data administration and management
Proficient computer skills, especially in Office 365
Experience in project management, project and process management tools of advantage
Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, excellent communication and team player skills
Very good level of written and spoken German is a must, English skills a plus
